Gold Standard Phantoms is excited to announce our participation in the 30th Annual Meeting of the British and Irish Chapter of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (BIC-ISMRM). This year’s meeting will bring together researchers, clinicians, and industry leaders to showcase innovation and collaboration in MRI and MR spectroscopy.
During the main conference, we will be highlighting our latest development, the SPIRIT phantom – a novel solution designed to advance multi-centre reproducibility and quality assurance in perfusion imaging. SPIRIT represents a significant step forward in ensuring that imaging biomarkers can be measured consistently across scanners and institutions, ultimately helping researchers and clinicians generate more reliable and comparable data.
We will also be contributing to the MR Spectroscopy Workshop, where discussions will focus on shaping a nationwide quality assurance process for clinical MRS in the NHS. Building on our experience with the SPECTRE phantom series, we will explore what should be tested across hospitals to ensure robust and standardised MRS practices. As part of this vision, we are developing an online QA platform for MRS, inspired by our successful VERIFLUX system. This new cloud-based solution will help streamline the management, analysis, and sharing of MRS QA data, forming a key piece of the puzzle in establishing reliable NHS-wide processes.
We look forward to meeting colleagues, collaborators, and new partners at BIC-ISMRM, and to continuing our mission of setting the gold standard in MRI and MRS quality assurance.
